If you’ve lived in the Philippines for a while, you’ve probably heard of one of the most famous holiday towns in the country – Tagaytay. Since it sits on the ridge above the Taal Volcano island, it’s blessed with great views all around coupled with a mild climate most of the year. Starbucks has countless great-looking branches around the world and a lot of cool branches in this country but this one takes the top spot.

Since this is probably the main reason you’re going to this particular Starbucks, you’ll want to get a spot at the alfresco area, which is hands down the best spot to sip your coffee at for obvious reasons.
East Beach Café, West Sussex, The United Kingdom
Creatively designed by the famous architect Thomas Heatherwick after being commissioned by owner Jane Wood, this little award-winning seafront cafe has become quite the landmark. Deliberately nautical, the design was inspired by a piece of driftwood you’d find at the beach. The structure, especially the interiors can remind you of a small and cozy cave you’d find at a secret beach.
On the outside, the waves and ridges produce light and shadow effects that complement each other. Suffice to say that the design is eye-catching and enduringly interesting.
As for the food, the cafe serves contemporary British seaside cuisine. The menu consists of fresh and locally sourced seafood from salmon to mussels and to crab. This place is surely a must-see if you’re one to appreciate hidden artistic gems.
Disaster Café, Lloret de Mar, Spain

This groundbreaking café can be found in Lloret de Mar in Spain and it’s where people actually pay to experience an earthquake while enjoying their food and drinks. But on the outside, it looks like any ordinary coffee shop.
Go inside, because if you want to experience a simulated magnitude 7.8 earthquake, this is the café for you. It is not uncommon for food and drinks to spill so it would be best to dress accordingly. The staff wear safety equipment but mostly just for show and keeping up with the theme of the restaurant. if you’re ever in Costa Brava, Spain, be sure to give this place a visit especially if you’re looking for something different.
Ddo-ong Café, Seoul, South Korea
What’s so unique about this café? Well, for one thing, the theme is poop. Yes, you read that right, it’s poop-themed. Seoul has a lot of unique and interesting cafés but this one is arguably the most unique. Everything in this café is inspired by poop from the drinks, to the food and for a café that’s poop-themed, it serves some of the prettiest coffees and waffles.
Inside, you’ll find that even the seats, the tables, and the pillows have friendly poop-themed designs. It’s probably a first for most people to sip their lattes from a mini toilet bowl because the mug is shaped like a tiny toilet bowl for your convenience. The food and drinks are all pretty delicious, once you get past all the poo designs. Overall, the experience is quite comical and the place is great for a casual hangout with family or friends.
Easey’s, Collingwood, Victoria, Australia
It’s hard not to think about the times you were on the go when visiting this café and restaurant. The place is basically a transportation and travel theme. Seeing the place from the outside, it looks like an ordinary commercial building with three train carriages on the roof. Upon entering, you’re bombarded with a variety of graffiti and colors. The walls are filled with huge graffiti and the table seats are that of old railway passenger car seats. All of this creates an aesthetic that blends well with the overarching theme.
On the top floor are the actual train carriages and it quite simply looks like a café in train carriages. The restaurant also offers customers a great view while they’re at the train areas as the view from the top was great.
